1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the website at vincennesinsulation.com, requesting a service estimate, or engaging Vincennes Insulation to perform work, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. 2. Description of Services
Vincennes Insulation provides residential and commercial insulation services, including but not limited to spray foam insulation, attic insulation, blown-in insulation, crawl space insulation, basement insulation, wall insulation, air sealing, vapor barrier installation, and related work. Services are performed in the Vincennes, IN area and surrounding communities.
The content on our website is for informational purposes only. Descriptions of services are general in nature. Specific scope of work, materials, and methods will be defined in a written estimate or service agreement provided before work begins.
3. Estimates and Pricing
All estimates provided by Vincennes Insulation are based on an in-person assessment of the property and the information available at the time of the visit. Estimates are provided in writing and are valid for 30 days from the date issued, unless otherwise noted.
- An estimate is not a binding contract until both parties have signed a written service agreement.
- Prices may change if the scope of work changes, if conditions are discovered during the project that were not visible at the time of the estimate, or if materials costs change significantly between the estimate date and the project start date.
- Any changes to the original scope of work must be agreed upon in writing before additional work is performed.
- Free estimates are provided at no charge and carry no obligation on the part of the customer.
4. Scheduling and Cancellation
Project scheduling is confirmed in writing or by phone. We ask that customers provide at least 48 hours notice if they need to reschedule or cancel a confirmed appointment.
- We reserve the right to reschedule jobs due to weather conditions, equipment issues, or other circumstances outside our control. We will notify you as soon as reasonably possible.
- Repeat cancellations or no-shows by the customer may result in a scheduling deposit being required before future work is confirmed.
- Any deposits paid to secure a project date are non-refundable if the customer cancels with less than 48 hours notice.
5. Payment Terms
Payment terms are specified in the written service agreement. General terms are as follows:
- Payment is due upon completion of the work unless other arrangements have been agreed upon in writing.
- Accepted payment methods will be stated in the service agreement. We reserve the right to require payment by specific methods for certain project types.
- Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. We reserve the right to pursue collection of unpaid balances through appropriate legal channels.
- Any disputes about an invoice must be raised in writing within 10 business days of receipt.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- Vincennes Insulation is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or related to our services or website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
- Our total liability to you for any claim related to services we provide is limited to the amount you paid us for the specific work giving rise to the claim.
- We are not responsible for pre-existing conditions at your property that are not visible during the estimate visit, or for damage caused by conditions outside our reasonable control.
7. Warranty Disclaimers
Any warranty on completed work will be stated in the written service agreement. Unless otherwise specified in that agreement:
- We warrant that work will be performed in a professional manner consistent with industry standards.
- We pass through any manufacturer warranties on materials we install, but we do not independently guarantee those materials beyond what the manufacturer provides.
- Warranties are void if the completed work is modified, damaged, or subjected to conditions beyond normal use without our written consent.
- Website content is provided on an "as is" basis without warranty of any kind. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
8. Customer Responsibilities
To allow us to complete work properly, customers agree to:
- Provide accurate information about the property and any known conditions that may affect the work.
- Ensure the work area is accessible and clear of stored items before the scheduled start date.
- Follow any preparation or re-entry instructions provided by our team, including vacating the premises for spray foam installation and airing-out periods.
- Secure pets and notify us of any special access requirements in advance.
9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute cannot be resolved informally, both parties agree to attempt good-faith mediation before pursuing litigation. Any legal proceedings will be conducted in Knox County, Indiana.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of the State of Indiana, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Knox County, Indiana.
11. Modifications to These Terms
Vincennes Insulation reserves the right to update or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Changes take effect when posted to this page, with the effective date updated accordingly. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
